Monday, February 3, 2014 Period 1

Today we discussed the ending to the packet, “Two Gallants”, and afterwards turned them in. We then read the article “Genesis” in our language arts textbooks, and afterwards started to read “Milton’s Paradise” in small groups while answering the questions in “The Fall of Satan” packet that was handed out in the beginning of class.
For homework the following is due:

• Milton Packet
• Fishbowl on Wednesday, bring in five questions that pull together all of the Hell-themed text excerpts, and media we have gone over including but not limited to “Two Gallants”, “Paradise Lost: Fall of Satan”, “Genesis”, “Dante’s The Divine Comedy”, movies, songs, and art.
•   LL part 1 is due February 14^th.
• Remember our review-guiding question: “To what extend does a creator have responsibility for its creation? When does the creation assume responsibility for its own actions?”
